About SealerOn™ Induction Sealing

Induction Sealing Machines

SealerOn™ is our registered trademark for our range of Induction Sealing Machines. Similarly, LabelOn™ is our registered trademark for our range of Self-Adhesive Label Applicators.

These Tradenames and range of equipment are owned by an Australian parent Company called Benefel Pty Ltd.  The owner of Benefel, Mr. Ben Bornstein, has a background in Engineering and has worked in the packaging industry since 1990.  Ben started his career as a young Engineer working for a then-small Labeling Machine manufacturer in Australia.  In that Company, Ben started as a machine service technician, where he spoke at length with existing clients and assisted with machine service and set-up (as best as could be done with the machine designs of that time).

Highlights from His 11-Year Career at the Labeling Equipment Manufacturer

  1. Introduced digital timing and speed synchronising concept
  2. Designed the first digital timing circuits for the labeling machines
  3. took over management and sales activities of the company’s Sanyo Denki agency (Stepper Motors, Servo’s and Fans)
  4. State Manager for machine sales (1-2 years)
  5. Export Manager for machine sales – establishing machine sales agencies throughout Asia & parts of South America
  6. Work to establish the company’s US office

Throughout the above work, Ben introduced and helped the continued development of the following concepts:

  1. Digital-based labeling machine Control
  2. Modular machine design and pricing
  3. machine design for remote service (where well over 95% of all service issues could be resolved via correspondence)
  4. agency agreements

By the time Ben left the label machine manufacturer that company had grown from 12 people to 120 people and was Australia’s leading manufacturer and exporter of self adhesive labeling machines.  New management and a perceived change in central focus in that company were among some of the reasons for moving on.

Benefel Pty Ltd

Benefel Pty Ltd was founded in 1999 as a packaging company. Starting with cap lining materials, Benefel built strong markets for Meyer-Germany products across Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Part of this range included induction sealing foils.

To support these materials, Ben’s engineering background helped source and develop a range of induction sealing machines from Asia, ensuring reliable performance alongside major suppliers like Meyer-Germany. This led to the creation of the CE-certified SealerOn™ equipment range, which continues to evolve today.

For more demanding and high-speed applications, Benefel partnered with MeRo Italy, a leading OEM for induction sealing machines. A closer look inside a MeRo machine reveals superior engineering and build quality compared to most European and US brands — yet pricing remains highly competitive.

Working with manufacturers in Asia, a network of contacts and suppliers grew for Benefel Pty Ltd. With the right expertise and control, it became clear that world-class packaging equipment could be developed for Western markets. Before leaving the labeling machine company, Ben had a list of innovations that were never pursued. In 2008, Benefel launched the LabelOn™ modular label applicator after a break from labeling and with former owner approval. The result: a world-leading labeling machine known for its design, technology, performance, user-friendliness, serviceability, quality, and value.
